This limited edition release, matured in American and European Oak casks for 29 years at The Glenfiddich Distillery, is finished for six months in Okinawa’s exquisitely rare Awamori rice spirit casks for an ‘ unforgettable taste.
A surge of ripe fruits and caramelised almonds fill the nose, before indulgent layers of toasted oak and creamy vanilla mingle with spice and sherbet, rippling on the tongue before a final crescendo of oak on the finish. It’s delicate, distinctive, and just like Yozakura, once experienced, is never forgotten.
