Dark Horse Big Red Blend

Description

The Dark Horse Big Red Blend has deep flavors of dark berry and black currant, supported by plush tannins, hints of dark roasted oak and a long finish. This Red Blend underwent alcoholic fermentation with hand chosen yeast to provide enhanced color, structure and fruit characteristics.

Tasting Note

Deep flavors of dark berry and black currant. Hints of dark roasted oak. Soft sweet notes with floral hints and licorice juice. Wood char and pencil shaving aromas. Sweet berry and vanilla flavors.

Dark Horse Double Down Red Blend

Description

The Dark Horse Double Down Red Blend is a full-bodied red wine with glorious aromas of fig and blueberry jam that dance together with dark chocolate, molasses, and hints of blackberry. A rich mouthfeel gives way to intense fruit concentration, a little heat, and lingering toasted oak.

Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon

Description

Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon is big and bold, this deeply colored wine opens with the aroma of fresh coffee, followed by blackberry jam, toasted oak, and a hint of dried herbs. The blackberry jam character carries through to the mouth, with a well-structured, rich mouthfeel and notes of dark chocolate and cinnamon.

Dark Horse Merlot

Description

Dark Horse Merlot is perfectly balanced with layers of ripe dark cherries and rich blackberries. Aromas of blue violet, toasted oak, mocha and brown spice rise out of the glass and lead to a long, plush finish. The grapes for this wine were selected from premier California vineyards by our Winemaker Beth Liston.

Description
Our velvety smooth Pinot Noir wine is pleasantly dry, earthy, and complements absolutely everything. Layered with notes of dark cherry and strawberries balanced with a flavorful finish, Dark Horse Pinot Noir is light enough for fish and charcuterie yet complex enough for richer dishes like roasted chicken or pasta.

Aromas of plump strawberry and Bing cherry. Hints of dried rose and lavender. Layers of cherry compote and accents of plum, strawberry, and a touch of tomato leaf. A polished mouthfeel leads to a lingering finish with a touch of strawberry

Description

Dark Horse Chardonnay is a rich, full-bodied white wine from California. Layers of white peach and pineapple open to subtle hints of toasted oak. A crisp acidity leads to a delicious, refreshing finish.

Dry, fruity notes of apple and ripe stone fruit, toasted oak, peach, baked apple, pear, and honey blend.

Pairs well with strong-flavored dishes like smashed avocado with halloumi and creamy curry. Goes well with almost any wine and cheese pairing. Best served chilled to bring out its full flavor profile.

Dark Horse Sauvignon Blanc

Description
Dark Horse Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing New Zealand-style white wine with a California twist. Zests of grapefruit and key lime brighten the palate, then follow through to accents of passionfruit and jalapeƱo on the finish.
